Welcome to spedas.org! SPEDAS (Space Physics Environment Data Analysis Software) is a framework, written in IDL, to support loading, plotting, analysis, and integration of data from a number of space- and ground-based observatories, including THEMIS, MMS, GOES, IUGONET, and most data sets archived at CDAWeb.
We invite all interested parties to join the SPEDAS mailing list to keep up to date on the status of the project.
The SPEDAS software can be dowloaded via the spedas.org Downloads and Installation page. As of June 9, 2017, the most current fully QA-ed SPEDAS release is SPEDAS 2.00. We also offer downloads of our nightly “bleeding edge” builds, which have not yet been put through our full QA process, but do offer access to the latest features (for example, the plugin for working with MMS data.)
Documentation is now available from the SPEDAS wiki .
